Reimagining chocolate.

Reimagining chocolate.

チョコレートを、もう一度考える。

Chocolate, once a rare luxury, was introduced to Japan during the Edo period and later became widely popular in the Meiji era.
Since then, it has been enjoyed as a part of everyday life, but now, that normality is quietly beginning to waver.
The impact of climate change has made cacao harvests unstable, and rising global prices remind us that chocolate is by no means an infinite resource.
At the same time, social issues such as child labor seen in some parts of the cacao industry also demand more responsible choices.

Against this backdrop, the value of chocolate itself is being re-evaluated, and perhaps the way we enjoy it needs to change.
Instead of consuming it thoughtlessly, we need to choose it consciously, both for ourselves and for society.
B-GENKI proposes a way to enjoy chocolate more thoughtfully in daily life by combining nutritious natto with chocolate.

Furthermore, we use cacao sourced through the initiatives of the Cocoa Horizons Foundation*, contributing to the support of sustainable agricultural communities.
Precisely because chocolate is so precious, we want to enjoy it in a way that is kind to people and to the future.
